Umm, yep. Been a bit quiet on the blog front. So here’s a whole lot in one go.
Last summer we were lucky enough to be involved in many, many exciting celebrations. Corporate parties, yoga festivals, 21st birthdays, and some sensational weddings. We had a horsy theme happening setting up for the first time in an indoor horse arena, and at a stunning horse stud in northern Victoria, as well as at Living Legends, where the Melbourne cup champions go to retire!
We set up all over the place. From Russell’s Bridge, Nhill, Rochester, Portsea, Clonbinane and the ever popular and charming Collingwood Children’s Farm! (Which doesn't actually farm children, but is very child friendly). We crossed the border to set up in the beautiful Albury Botanic gardens (they are magnificent if you haven’t been) and, because it was hotter than a stove, all cooled off in the mighty Murray after a long set up!
We did a couple of events at Phillip Island (sadly no penguins) and at lots of beautiful private properties across the state.
We worked with some great people. We saw friends and families come together to create fabulous celebrations – and it always felt like a privilege to be a part of those events. Lots of inspired decorating was done. Bon fires were built for warmth in the cooler months, beautiful bunting and flowers...always lots of fabulous flowers and foliage. We love what flowers can add to an event, that final touch.
Also, in the short gap between ‘seasons’ we got ourselves a fabulous new website thanks to the great guys at Inhaus. It went live in early August. Tell us what you think!
Suddenly its almost Spring and we are gearing up for a fabulously busy 16/17 season. The lovely rain across Victoria this winter means verdant green paddocks and gardens as back drops for our beautiful tipis and celebrations. We have been busy meeting clients and sharing their visions at various sites in some of the most fabulous spots across Victoria. New ones like the majestic Rusty Gate in Curlewis www.rustygateweddings.com.au/
with THE most wonderful views across the bay and the lights beyond.
The charm of the sites we get to and the excitement for our clients as the reality of a special day starts to dawn are highlights of what we do. We always love arriving on site, the final measure up for the perfect placement of the Giant Tipis and tweaking the details of furniture, lighting and everything else we need to get exactly right. We have a fantastic job!
Your interest in us, and the support we get from all our clients, is really the icing on the cake!
Roll on Tipi season!
